Beat Winter Germs and Stay Healthy All Season with a Steam Cleaner

Winter is coming…and that means that so are the germs and illnesses that always seem to flourish during the season.  Whether you have children in school that bring homes germs, you go to an office full of people sneezing and coughing, or you just live your daily life and encounter germs, they seem to be everywhere.  And, when you encounter those germs out in the world, you ultimately bring them into your home.  While you may not be able to ward off every cold and flu bug that comes your way during the winter, you can significantly improve your chances of avoiding illness by using a steam cleaner throughout your home.

First, before you or your family enter your home, take off your shoes and leave them in the garage or in a basket by the door.  Additionally, any backpacks or bags that you bring in should be periodically steam cleaned to remove bacteria, dirt, and lice that love to attach to fabric.  Next, you can steam clean your flooring and grout which will help reduce the amount of bacteria you track throughout your home.  Then, head to everyone’s favorite place to hangout – the kitchen.  The kitchen tends to harbor a lot of bacteria because people congregate there.  And, because you sometimes eat or snack there, and obviously prepare food there, it is important to keep surfaces clean and disinfected so that illness does not spread throughout your home.  It is a safe and effective way to keep a variety of countertop and cabinet materials clean and you can also use your steam cleaner to clean and disinfect all of your kitchen appliances.  And, that frustrating kitchen grease that tends to build up on every surface high and low will be no match for the power of steam!

Next, grab that same steam cleaner and head to your bathrooms.  This is the next most common place that you and your family will encounter bacteria that will ultimately lead to winter illness.  You can use your steam cleaner on virtually every surface in your bathroom.  Use it to clean and disinfect up to 99% of bacteria on your toilets, countertops, sinks, faucets, showers, shower doors, flooring, drapery and more!  Finally, grab your steam cleaner and head to the bedrooms.  You can use your steam cleaner to clean upholstery, bedding, mattresses and other surfaces in your bedroom.  The best part about using a steam cleaner is that it is so fast and efficient it makes it easy to do this kind of deep cleaning and disinfecting on a daily or weekly basis.
